Association for Computing Machinery Women (AMC-W) https://acmwosu.github.io/

In ACM-W we engage students in activities that improve the working and learning environments for women in technology. This is accomplished by mentoring, volunteering, teaching others, and encouraging other women to get involved in CS. In our Ohio State chapter, we meet on Wednesday from 7–8pm during the semester, and keep our members engaged through company events, the Grace Hopper Conference, socials and workshops, outreach events, and the mentorship program. Lambda Psi Honorary

Lambda Psi Minority Engineering Honorary is an undergraduate honorary which targets underrepresented minorities within the College of Engineering. Members can be from any engineering discipline, but they must have met or exceeded specific academic requirements to apply. Activities include on-campus academic workshops, community outreach, and our annual LEGO League Jr. Program.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)

We are The Ohio State University National Society of Black Engineers. Here at tOSU, we strive to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers (SASE)

SASE is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment so that they can achieve their full career potential. In addition to professional development, SASE also encourages members to contribute to the enhancement of the communities in which they live.

SASE’s mission is to prepare Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success in the global business world, celebrate diversity on campuses and in the workplace, and provide opportunities for members to make contributions to their local communities.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

In SHPE, we seek to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. In our Ohio State chapter, we meet monthly on Mondays at 5:30 PM during the semester, and we strive to keep our members engaged through initiatives like our MentorSHPE program, social events, national/regional conference opportunities, community outreach, and more.
