What is your favorite part of your job? My Team!

Where do you see yourself in ten years? Continuing to do consulting — leading teams through new technology landscapes.

What was your favorite part about being in SWE at Ohio State? What were some of the events you were involved in? The friends I met and attending conference. I was involved in a variety of events — social, professional development, and conference planning.

Did you do an internship while at OSU? I did two! One at NASA in Materials Research, and the second at Conagra in Manufacturing.

What did you do in undergrad that best helped you prepare for your career/future? Take advantage of professional development opportunities through SWE, WIE, and Scholars programs. There is always more to learn on the basics, and making time to learn these skills during college gave me a strong start to my career.

Do you have any advice for current SWE members? What do you wish you knew in college? If an event (speaker, presentation) sounds interesting — make time to go, even if you go by yourself. Introduce yourself to other attendees, because it is always a great way to practice networking.
